I had read that the video game Mobile game and some other thing's "PAC MAN" was played was actually named "puck man" but when it came to the us the name got changed from "Puck MAN" to "PAC MAN" also i think "PAC MAN" is a big hit since from back in the days and now so yeah happy anniversary "PAC MAN".

Well, I remember the first day I saw a computer, it was my cousins, I was amazed it had no internet but to me it was totally awesome. The next day I remember waking up early to explore the new "Computadora" I saw the Recycling Bin icon, the QuickTime Player, etc. Boy was I amazed when I saw my Uncle show my cousin the Pac-Man game. After he played I wouldn't stop playing he would cry for me to let him play but I wouldn't let him. After a long day trying to get through the first level I gave up. So this article really interested me and I'm sad by the fact that Pac-Man used to be in every computer but now not much have them.

I LOVE Pac-Man and I didn't know that it was renamed. I mean I would do that to but, they shouldn't be that scared about someone copyrighting their work. Also PUCK-MAN sounds like a weird name for the game cos' I mean he is eating the dots and ghost not throwing them up. I don't like how they took it away so fast. Yet it was really nice of them to bring Ms. pac-man into the world. I played pac-man everyday of my life and I sometimes wish I didn't get rid of that pac-man joy stick control I had.

It is crazy how people come out with theses ideas and then they are made into million and even billion dollar ideas. The man that created Pac-Man is a genius because even to this day people think it is fun playing A game that was made in the 1900's.
The blog about Pac-Man was real interesting yet that i'm a real fan player of the arcade game myself. I read about how the game became so popular in arcades and had higher ranks from any other old school virtual/retro devices that's live.. what's great is that there's also other versions of the game created throughout the decade which made me realize that it's not just a box that charges .50 per play, it's a phenomenon that'll live on for centuries..respect remarks to the games anniversary.

Pac_Man is a very popular game even thought it was made in May 22,1980 its a very old game.I didn't even know it was called(Puck-Man).Its pretty cool that it's still popular till this day.

Pac-Man is a great game and I think it's a really fun game and I believe this game opened up many door ways to games we have now which is another reason I am glad Pac-Man was created.This game is one of the most popular games and is loved throughout the world.

ReplyDeleteThis was a interesting article because i didn't know they called it Puck-Man, before they called it Pac-Man, And I use to play that game when i was little and that game was fun.So I didn't know that Pac-Man Is still being sold.

ReplyDeleteI don't undertstand why but I had a bit of difficutly understanding the article. Anyways I'm impressed by how much they've made by selling Pac-Man. It's not a shock but something to be proud of. Whenever I play the game it makes me excited. I congratulate Pac-Man Creators for their excellence in game design. It's important to talk about this because we wonder when will the next be? Interesting? Anything can happen today.

ReplyDeleteI love Pac-man and to know that it's been around for 30 years is shocking and it's still getting sold today. I don't know one person who hasn't played Pac-Man. If it's succeeded this long it still has a long way to go .

ReplyDeleteI love Pacman I didnt know it was a debut in Japan. I didnt know that pacman was named after a man called puckman . That's pretty cool though.Knowing that pacman been around for 30 years is shocking and it stills got a long way to go
ReplyDeleteI remember the first time that I herd the game Pac-Man.I thought that the game was amazing!!! I could never stop playing it.At that point I thought that it was just a game but now that I read you blog i realized that Pac-Man is not just a game it actually means more than a game to a lot of people.I LOVE PAC-MAN!!!!

ReplyDeleteI think that the blog is really cool because it really explains how pac man was invented and that in japan is a really big deal beause it was the first arcade invented also the people who live their the one who invented it so yea and really cool that the pac man game is been here for 30 years well I really like to play pac man when i was little and it a lot of fun no matter what age you are is really cool and fun!!!!:)
ReplyDeleteIt is crazy how people come out with theses ideas and then they are made into million and even billion dollar ideas. The man that created Pac-Man is a genius because even to this day people think it is fun playing A game that was made in the 1900's.
ReplyDeleteThe blog about Pac-Man was real interesting yet that i'm a real fan player of the arcade game myself. I read about how the game became so popular in arcades and had higher ranks from any other old school virtual/retro devices that's live.. what's great is that there's also other versions of the game created throughout the decade which made me realize that it's not just a box that charges .50 per play, it's a phenomenon that'll live on for centuries..respect remarks to the games anniversary.

ReplyDeleteThe article was really interesting, and I can tell how much a breakthrough it must have been. If you looked at Pac-Man now, it seems super simple, but back then it was really advanced. Maybe there'll be something in the future that makes our games now look the same way.

Ab=nd now nearly 3 decades it's still one of the most sold games , it's shockig how one of the most sold game of all time was thought by a 10 year old .

I know I use to play it a'lot and I really liked it and every I played it it made me happy. So if it made me happy I know that lots of other people loved it and it made them happy.
