Remember when we watched "The Story of Stuff" and there was a diagram that showed us how many plastic bottles we use and how much waste we are creating? Think of all the plastic things that you use on a daily basis. Now imagine how many of them you throw away. Plastic can not decompose. It just lays around on the earth for thousands of years piling up into a big, smelly mess. Talk about polluting the planet! What can we do about this problem?
Well one very smart man has invented a machine that can turn plastic into oil! Remember that oil is a non-renewable resource. One day there will be no more oil on our planet. How will we make cars move or power our houses and schools?

I never thought there was a way for us to turn plastic back into oil. I wish that man could develop it and introduce it to other countries. Pretty soon we can have more oil to put in machines if the whole world starts using it.
I can't beleave that this man may actually save the world with such a little machine. I think that he will, I at lease hope that it will. I know that they came out with the solat panels and the hydroelectricty and such, but this may be the invention that could save the world of over pollution.
I think what he created has been one of the most greatest things invented because if we can make oil out of the plastic then we'd never run out of oil because we just keep extracting the oil from each and indiviual bottle. Also I think if we put more effort into cleaning our planet then we just might succeed in not using all our non-renewable resources and live longer and better.

This post was really interesting. I really think thatIf this machines get sended into amother part of the world like ofr example places that they just really need it like Mexico. It's sad because of the waste of trash all over Japan. It makes Japan look dirty and the worst part is the trash gets dumped into the water killing coral reefs and fish's homes.

We need to stop just throwing oil away like it is nothing, how will they even understand it if they won't even listen to us. The video was great I enjoyed it!

ReplyDeleteThat is so cool I did not even think they can trun plastic into oil I think that would go a long way and then we would not have to drity the world so much. And to think that someone has found that the plastic can be used as oil and like that man said a plastic fild is a oil fild. and now what I think now is that maybe now we wont have to go to war for our oil we can get it from plastic!!!
ReplyDeleteThis video really catches my attention because I never even knew that plastic was made out of oil. And it's really relieving that they found a way to change plastic back to oil. I hope that know since we have people changing them back that we won't run out of oil in the future
ReplyDeletedang a machene that can convert plastic bags into oil i need one of those for my parents car because of the price of oil these days weel be bankrupt plus but that machene looks awesome to me and also one thing occured to me why cant the u.s. make one just a little bit bigger so that way we can reduce th co2 emmitions we put out in the world an the us gets oil

Wow! He says that turning plastic back into oil was not that hard.Now imagine everyone in the world doing this.We would have more oil for the future and less garbage in the ground.I think that every state or city should have one of thse but they should probably make it way bigger that way you don't have to repeat the same process over and over.

I think that that is really good because we use alot of plastics well all most evry thing that we use is made up out of oil then the oil can run out. But know that they can do that they can turn some things back to oil! :)

I thinck this is soo awesome but at the some time im trieing ti feger out were is the oil gannna go and if it gose to cars what are we ganna do with the co2 that the cars make and to stop doing to much becuase all this is affecting the animals that need it but how we know that co2 is geting much more theneniting in to are worl and is trapt that we now know that is making are earth hoter to and that can damege are glaces and that we can have more then eny thing water that can take are earth and that bad so i have a idea we can get red of the plastic and just do some to trie to stop a littel bet of co2 to damege are earth

I think this man is very smart and really cares aboout the environment, which not a lot of people do ! I would like to have one of these machines because it may help my family have a better understanding of recycling and things like that.
