Celebrity Games

Hi. So I have been meaning to tell you about my adventures over spring break. Our founder Dr. Idit Caperton was a guest speaker at SXSWinteractive. We were able to meet with her and Ms. Shannon and Yasmine who came to visit from New York. I saw many interesting things and met many interesting people who are in the technology field. I met a game designer from Paris, an application creator from San Francisco, an attorney who works with Video Game Design firms, the manager/buyer of Toy Joy here in Austin, and the list goes on and on.

One of the most interesting people that I saw was Mike Tyson. He was in town for the SXSW Screenburn festival. This is where gaming firms and designers come to Austin to showcase their up and coming games and gaming consoles. Can you guess why Mike Tyson was there? Well, he has a new video game coming out and he was there to promote it.

There were hundreds of people waiting to get an autograph of his and they were even painting face tattoos like the one he has on his face. (I am not in anyway condoning tattoos, especially on your face)

At the end of this year, after you have created an AMAZING web game about an important Social Issue focused on some scientific topic,  would you try to sell it?  Would you want to attach a celebrity to your game? If it could be anyone in the world, past or present, who would you choose? How would you market your game, tv/internet/ radio commercials, go on talk shows, go to trade shows...or any ideas you may have. Tell me all about it. Create blog post 10 for this activity.
