Did you see the fireball that flew through the atmosphere last night? If you didn't get a chance to see it, I'm sure you heard about it from Facebook, Twitter, or on the news. I actually got to see it and it was one of the craziest things I've ever seen. It looked like a shooting star, but moved at a slower pace and it was really wide and round. It had a bright greenish, blueish ring around it and was sort of yellow in the middle. As it descended through the sky, it seemed to get closer and closer to us. I thought it had crash landed somewhere close by, but it turns out it actually landed pretty far away from Austin. Scientists think it was some type space debris, or more interestingly a piece of MARS!!!!!! Check out the quick time lapse photography from Texas State that caught a quick view of the meteorite shooting across the sky.

Wow Ms.Arcos this is quite amazing and creepy too even though I enjoy watching these kinds of things I don't think I would ever like to encounter one.

A actual fire ball. An Alien. A piece of a planet. It could be anything. But for sure it is NOT 2012. That is just an old, fake tale. 2012 is not real and will never happen. This is sooooo crazyy!!!.. I am mad because i did not get the opportunity to see it. I wish there where better images and videos of it. I just hope that nothing like that crashing and making a disaster here!

I thought that it was really amazing , I had never seen one before - I wish I could of seen it while it was passing outside. This is a really special thing that will go down in history & many will be talking about it , I think even as I'm writing people are talking about it. ;p Well , this was an extraordinary thing to watch - I really hope another one will come & I'll be able to see it !
